CREATING AN ABUSE-FREE CULTURE FOR ALL
The Initiative (previously known as Domestic Violence Initiative for Women with Disabilities or DVI) advocates for persons with disabilities who are victims of abuse. Through our direct services and our outreach program, The Initiative strives to create an abuse-free culture for all.
The Initiative is dedicated to creating a systemic and cultural shift to be compassionate, inclusive, and a community that is safe for everyone. We do this by providing free community education on the ACRTI model of being Accessible, Culturally Responsive, and trauma-Informed when working with individuals from marginalized communities.
